Nokia's answer to Blackberry service goes live as beta, and it is not a bad thing really. It requires you to download a small app on your handsets and it has a pretty decent GUI.

A dozen reasons to bury your iPhone!!

Here are a dozen reason why you should think before getting the iPhone. And I am not counting that you can't change the battery yourself. Only Apple can.

HC bans plastic bags in all city markets in New Delhi

The High Court banned plastic bags in all city markets...High time they tackled this problem from the supply side. Now they are also going to shut all plastic recycling units in the city. Hope the plan works. Read on here

Apple blacklisting hacked iPhones. Beware !!

Apple is said to have installed a small app on the iPhones, called blacklist, which contacts the Apple server and allows Apple to remotely remove unauthorized apps from the iPhone and even blacklist the phone. Blacklisting will prevent further use of the phone and withdraw services from Apple support. The media is referring to it as the 'kill switch'. Read on here and here.

Hasselblad announces a 50 Mega Pixel camera

When it comes to professional digital cameras, the top name is not Nikon or Canon, it is Hasselblad and they have recently announced their 50 MP, yes thats 50 Mega Pixel camera model H3DII-50, but the price is not announced yet. But we can guess the approximate price if we know that their older model H3DII-39 with 39 mega pixel and lesser features, costs 37,000 US$. That's a lot of moolah for a camera, if you ask me.

It features a 36.8×49.1mm Kodak sensor, which is much larger than most DSLR cameras and a RAW format images will be around 65 MB. A 2 GB card will be able to hold just about 31 images.
